Sound Healing is a receptive practice: you rest while the room fills with sound, and the body does the rest. Singing bowls, drums, chimes, and shakers create a field of vibration that the nervous system naturally settles into.
No experience is needed, and there is nothing to do. The work happens through listening.
The Experience
You are invited to lie down and make yourself comfortable. The session opens with a short settling — a few minutes of breath and grounding — before the sound begins.
From there, layers of sound move around and through the space. Some people drift into a sleep-like state; others stay alert and notice sensation, memory, or emotion surfacing. All of it is welcome.
The final minutes return to stillness, giving you time to come back slowly and share anything that arose.
What It Can Offer
Depending on the individual, the experience may support:
- Deep rest and physical release
- A quieting of mental noise
- Emotional awareness and release
- Nervous system regulation
- A sense of spaciousness and calm
- Relief from the effort of holding on
On Its Own, or Woven In
Sound Healing is offered as a session in its own right, and is also woven into Somatic Breathwork and group work, where it deepens and holds the experience.
